Canon is a leader in the manufacturing of digital cameras for professional photographers. As their revenues and those of the agencies to which they sell their pictures are dependent on the use of their images, tools which enable photographers and agencies to track and detect usage of their copyrighted images are essential, in particular to avoid decreasing revenues from illicit sales.
CRF is researching and developing image tracking technologies which, for a given customer, quickly identify publication of their images on the Internet and report regularly to that customer.
